Meeting Registration is a Conference Package consisting of one fee which includes your Registration and Room and Board. Meeting attendees will receive a final confirmation email approx. two weeks prior to the meeting start date with your housing confirmation information.
The Conference Package includes:
- All scientific sessions and meeting materials
- 3 nights lodging (arriving March 1, departing March 4)
- Meals and networking receptions
Accommodations:
Accommodation arrangements are made during the registration process. All housing arrangements must be made directly through ASBMB’s registration site. Do not contact the meeting property directly.
Each registrant will have the option to choose single or double occupancy rooms. (Exception, Graduate and Postdoctoral Trainees must register for double occupancy accommodations, see “Roommates” section below.)
Guest/Spouse:
Registrants choosing to bring a non-attendee guest/spouse, must choose Single Occupancy and provide the guest's name. A $300 guest fee will apply allowing your guest/spouse to accompany you to all meals/receptions.
Roommates:
Attendees registered for Double Occupancy accommodation will have the option to enter a roommate name or request a roommate. If a roommate name is provided that roommate must also register as a meeting attendee and provide the roommate name that matches. If no roommate name is provided, ASBMB will assign roommates based on gender. If ASBMB is unable to assign a roommate the participant will be notified and required to pay the single occupancy rate.

Registration Changes and CancellationsRegistration Changes: Changes to registration that are non fee based, such as updates to profile information, roommate name, and dietary preferences, will be accepted until February 24, 2011. To make changes, log in to your profile page and click on the "Edit Registration" button. Once the change is made click on the "Save and Exit" button at the bottom of the page. You will receive an updated confirmation of the change by email. To make changes to fee based items, such as room type, you should make your change request by contacting ASBMB's Accounting Department at 301-634-7140. Changes will be accepted until February 24, 2011, unless the room type is no longer available, and additional registration fees may apply. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations will be permitted until February 24, 2011, and are subject to a $100.00 processing fee. After this date cancellations will not be refunded. Cancellations may be requested by email to the ASBMB Meetings Department at meetings@asbmb.org. Please include a copy of your meeting registration invoice, along with your name and the name of the meeting. |
